Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mosaic Baptist Church. It will be a weekend of reflection, thanksgiving and renewal of friendships in September 2022. We hope you can join us as we celebrate this milestone.

Celebration dinner
This evening will include fellowship over dinner, and live entertainment, reminiscing on the past with humour, music, drama and interviews.

Friday 16 September 2022. 6:00pm for a 6:30pm dinner at Canberra Rex Hotel.
Dress code smart casual.
RSVP and payments are due by Thursday 1 September 2022.
Purchase tickets
Cost is $65.00 per person or $60 for a student or pensioner.
When purchasing your tickets, there is an opportunity to give a little extra to help those who cannot afford the full cost.

On Saturday 17 September, this will be a day to connect with friends, visitors and rediscover Canberra.
Some suggestions are:
- Catch up over a cuppa in some of Canberra’s new growth suburbs ie Ginninderry, Gungahlin
- Visit ‘Floriade’ at Commonwealth park
- Visit ‘Tulip Top Gardens’ in Sutton
- Discover the new ‘light rail’ commuting from Gungahlin to the City
- Visit the National Arboretum
- Visit the Belconnen Community Men’s Shed at 32 Dallachy Street, Page
- Discover and reminisce around Belconnen town centre recent changes
- Visit the ‘Connection exhibition’ at the National Museum (a multi media presentation of Aboriginal culture – art, music, photography)
- Book in and join the Canberra Women’s convention all day event – talks on Ephesians 4: 1-16
- Another Chance Op Shop at Scullin Shops
Church service
A combined celebration service to thank God for His faithfulness and goodness to Mosaic Baptist Church and to focus with great expectation for the future. A high tea will be provided after the service. There is no cost but please register to assist with seating, kids ministry activities and catering numbers.

Followed by a high tea at the same venue.

A short history of Mosaic Baptist Church
This book traces the 50 year journey of the church, as well as highlighting its many ministries, both past and present. Old records, as well as contributions from key people who have been significant in the journey, have provided material for the history. It is an easy read that, together with photos, stirs memories, arouses gratitude and inspires hope for the future.
Cost $20 per book + $5 postage if applicable.
