Why Angels

  • Listen

We see in scripture that angels are sent to bring messages from God to people. What is the message the angels bring to Mary and those who are privileged to witness this most extraordinary event?

From Series: "Why Christmas G"

Our Why Christmas, series explores why God chose to do things the way He did when He became human and drew near. By reflecting on what God was showing us about Himself, through the people and events surrounding the birth of Jesus, we hope to gain a better sense of what it means when God draws near to us. Why would God do such an extraordinary thing, with such ordinary people? And what could this mean today, in our everyday lives and for the whole world which He loves so very much. What was God showing us about Himself, redemption and humanity, through working together with a young woman, shepherds and wise men. What does the message of the angels have to say to us in 2017, about God’s desire to restore and redeem all things? We hope you’ll join us as we explore this together and that we’ll experience once again how everything changes when God draws near.
