The Mosaic Reflective congregation is a community that reaches out to those who appreciate celebrating their faith in a quiet, unhurried way.
We meet in the Mosaic Community Centre in Dallachy Place, Page just across the road from the Page Church Centre (look out for the “Mosaic Reflective” flags) on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month at 9:30am for approximately one hour. We normally have quiet music beforehand from 9:15am and morning tea afterwards.
- On the 2nd Sunday we meet for a “Reflective Service” to focus on a theme, with some quiet music, a reflective reading of the Bible, communion in the round, a song, a time of prayer for global and local matters, times for reflection and a short sermon to challenge us. In this service we normally follow the theme used in all Mosaic congregations for that week.
- On the 4th Sunday we meet for “Reflective Space” and explore varied creative reflective ways of deepening or widening our appreciation of our faith. We may follow the Mosaic-wide theme for the week or a theme that is especially relevant to sections of our community.
- On the 5th Sunday (therefore quarterly) we meet for our Reflective Congregation prayer.
We keep in touch with regular e-mails and seek to support each other in ministries of prayer, love and care. We meet every so often for a fellowship meal at a convenient location.
As well as ministering amongst ourselves, we want to reach out. Do you have a friend who has a reflective soul, who is open to reflecting on what the Bible says and in relating to Jesus? Please consider introducing such friends to our reflective community.
